How Acupuncture Works
Plantar fasciitis is often felt in the heels but can also affect the arches and balls of the feet. Runners, tennis, and basketball players are often afflicted and people who stand on hard surfaces all day long. Firefighters, hairdressers, police officers, and teachers are also susceptible to this condition.
The Raleigh Acupuncture plantar fasciitis treatment relieves this pain in three to six treatments. It is pretty miraculous to see. And the treatment does NOT involve needling into the bottom of the feet. That would resemble torture, and we are not in the torture business. Believe it or not, your treatment for plantar fasciitis will be comfortable and relaxing. You may even fall asleep during the sessions.
Qi stagnation in the channels is the culprit for pain in the bottom of the feet. Channels are simply pathways for energy, or Qi, to flow. Pain results when Qi is restricted. Acupuncture restores proper Qi circulation through the channels that run across the soles of the feet, resolving pain.

Pain heals at different rates depending on its location. For example, acupuncture for acute neck strain (called wry neck) typically needs two to three treatments to resolve. Chronic shoulder pain or back pain require four to six treatments. Plantar fasciitis pain on the bottoms of the feet typically requires four to six treatments as well.
