The Raleigh Acupuncture constipation treatment will bring you fast and long-lasting results. Do you suffer from constipation? Is it chronic or something that’s come on just recently? In either case, constipation can be debilitating and uncomfortable. In addition, it poses additional health risks. Constipation denotes a digestive system out of balance and often is accompanied by bloating, stomach pain, and abdominal distension. Furthermore, it can lead to a build-up of toxicity in the body.

How It Works
When you come to your first Raleigh Acupuncture constipation treatment, we will conduct an intake exam to determine the specific causes of your condition. The root causes of constipation vary, depending on whether it is chronic, acute, or related to another health condition.
Acupuncture treats all types of constipation. Once the cause is identified, we will treat you using sterile, single-use, hair-thin needles. In acupuncture, needles on the body’s surface have a remarkable effect on our internal body. Therefore, we can heal organ imbalances such as constipation with the correct treatment protocol.
In some instances, we will add Chinese herbs to your treatment to promote faster healing. We have a full Chinese herbal pharmacy in our clinic, and all of our practitioners are nationally board-certified in Chinese herbal medicine.
Recent Testimonial
“I’ve lived with chronic constipation my whole life. I averaged once every five days or so, and that was normal. As a result, I always felt bottled up. My brother convinced me to try acupuncture, as it helped him with his constipation. The doctor gave me pills which he said were all natural and had been around for thousands of years. He also did acupuncture. After about half a dozen treatments I was going to the bathroom every other day. It’s been a year since my treatments ended and I’m still regular. I feel great.” -Paul S
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
It is common for people suffering from constipation to be diagnosed with IBS. Acupuncture has a highly effective treatment for both IBS-C (constipation-type) and IBS-D (diarrhea-type). Sometimes people have alternating constipation and diarrhea. We can address this variation as well.

What our Clients are Saying
I had a severe stomach flu six months ago with high fever for three days. Afterwards I had terrible constipation. I tried laxatives, but they only gave temporary relief. The pain was so bad that I started missing work. My wife’s sister had been to Raleigh Acupuncture for migraines and was very satisfied, and she suggested I call to see if they treat constipation. Not only were they able to treat me, they totally cleared up my condition in just two weeks. I am 100% better!
